Delivered to FTA members on a monthly basis, The Fur Taker is packed full of trapping information, articles, how-to columns, affiliate news and events plus more.

Editor Eric Arnold welcomes articles and news from all members. See our Writing Guidelines for submitting your story.

There are over 3,000 copies of The Fur Taker reaching members each month. Furthermore, it is estimated that each issue has a 2.9 turnout rate -- which means articles and advertising are seen on a monthy basis by over 8,000 sportsmen and women.

In addition to our membership mailing, each affiliate may designate two subscriptions to area libraries or classrooms, plus many trapper education classes incorporate our magazine with their student handouts.

Advertising Information

• Submission deadline is the 1st of the month prior to publication.

• Camera ready ads are preferred; however, we can do ad workup for minimal costs.

• A Media Kit is available upon request for all businesses and individuals wishing to place ads in the magazine.

• Ad payment is requested when ad is placed. We save money by elminating monthly billing.

• Classified ads can be used by businesses or members alike.

Advertising Details

The publisher reserves the right to refuse advertising not in keeping with ad policy. Due care is taken to ensure accuracy but no warranty is implied or given by the Fur Taker. Neither advertisers nor the Fur Taker assume responsibility for typographical errors, mistakes or misprints.

The deadline for advertising is the first of the month preceding the cover date. All ads received too late for the current issue will run in the following issue unless prior arrangements have been made. If proofs are required, material must be received 10 days prior to deadline.

Ad placement is based on best available space. Specific placement may be requested but cannot be guaranteed.

All ad payments must be made in advance. Check or money order must accompany ad order.

Advertising ordered by FTA affiliates in good standing shall be at multiple-issue rates..
